A landmark film about the Gnostic Doctrine is set to be released.  Under the production title "Behind the Veil," this project has been almost four years in the making (the average film takes five to six years from inception to delivery).  The release title will be "Sex: The Secret Gate to Eden."

Although the film was expected to release in the summer of 2004, the producers felt that significant revisions were necessary.  An additional 25 minutes was added to the film, requiring a complete overhaul of the project. Subsequently, an offer came for a completely original soundtrack and high-end audio mix, donated by a well-known audio facility in the US. 

The films' producers announced today that the project now has a complete voice-over (in English and Spanish) and original soundtrack, and is currently undergoing some last minute edits.  The project is expected to go for a final audio mix sometime in mid-to-late May, after which it will be ready for immediate distribution.  While no distribution deals have yet been signed, it is likely that the project will find a good venue given the public interest in Gnostic themes (evidenced by the popular "Da Vinci Code" and "The Gospel of Judas"). 

The project has been entirely funded by donations from around the world.
